“Chushak (Empty)” is an audiovisual piece that combines the evocative power of photography, testimonials, and descriptive data to create a narrative about the situation of closed community schools in Ecuador. Through the memory of empty spaces and the voice of the community, this work seeks to give a voice to those who have experienced the situation and initiate a dialogue that promotes change and the search for solutions for inclusive and high-quality education in rural areas of the country.
