In my work, I have developed different series of paintings where I use heraldry, shields, and flags of my country, Colombia, alongside convulsed landscapes and distorted portraits of officials and dignitaries. These elements serve to highlight the corrosion of political power as well as the ambiguous nature of humanity.

I paint to satisfy my voracious appetite for images and the emotion of creation. Painting, for me, is a mechanism for visual reflection on the contradictions of human nature.
