My work reflects on the formation and loss of identity through everyday rituals that often go unnoticed. My choice of subjects is deeply influenced by my experiences as a woman and a perennial migrant. I use mixed media to reveal the underlying stories within the photograph, drawing from my Latin American roots and the tradition of using crafts historically assigned to women as a means of advocacy.

The variety of mediums I employ reflects my relationship with the subject and my desire not only to tell their stories but also to accompany them in their journey.
