Sujetka ValVal

Sujetka’s artistic practice focuses on the body’s experience of language and the development of normalized abusive behaviors. Motivated by social change, she delves into the dynamics of power, the ‘gaze,’ and the body’s perception within repressive structures. Immersing herself in the mediums of performance and
installation, she creates spaces of tension. These concepts and human reactions are examined.
Dedicating her investigation to exploring matters concerning the mistreatment of women, children, and the service industry, she focuses on challenging normalized behaviors. Extending an invitation to the ‘other’ to contemplate their position in the social world and their complicity in everyday situations is at the center of her work.
