ART.PRO.FILE

Art and Craft Fair in Governors Island.

Open Call: March 1, 2023
Deadline: May 10, 2023
Art Fair: June 24 and 25, 2023

ART.PRO.FILE fair creates transformative encounters with art for all New Yorkers, inviting artists and researchers to engage with the issues of our time in the context of the Island’s layered histories, environments, and architecture. Over the decades, we’ve hosted tens of thousands of people at our shows, supported galleries, and launched the careers of countless artists. The fair welcomes artists, artisans, jewelers, potters, etc.

Here’s how we can help you make priceless contacts with qualified buyers, expand your business’s reach, sharpen your marketing skills, and reach the next level in your art career.

Fair Location and Conditions of the Space:

Colonels Row 405-B. The historic houses were built in the late 1900 to house military officers and their families during the Island’s history as a base for the U.S. Army and, later, the Coast Guard. Given their delicate nature, the spaces are best suited to creative practices that do not involve heavy production or large equipment. Spaces are delivered to selected organizations as-is and have working but limited electricity. Spaces currently have no access to running water, working restrooms or heating and cooling systems. Restroom facilities and drinking fountains are located within a five-minute walk from the houses.

Art Sales:
