Supporting the great effort that millions of women make for gender equality, I felt the need to participate by taking this speech to various places and platforms. To continue the conversation originated by feminist movements, I used photos of marches and empowerment slogans projecting them on the street and all kind of spaces. I also projected these images directly onto the faces and bodies of women creating portraits of power. My subjects are women in all their diversity, different races, social classes, professions, and interests. All united by the same feelings: intolerance to the epidemic of violence, and their dedication to advancing the rights of women. These are my Feminist Projections.

To take part in the marches, I created a vest with a message, a power vest. This led me to create a series of vests made from different materials, ranging from canvas to lace and everything in between, reflecting the multiplicity of women and their passions –a kind of an armor with affirmations that women live daily. We dress with the intention to communicate; therefore, we must also dress mentally with a daily message that keeps us on track with our struggle. These are my Power Vests.
