The aesthetic manifestation of the constant questioning that goes on in my head related to the reason for existence, life and death, pain, and love. These concepts are, of course, the cornerstone of human emotions and the reason for thinking and developing the structure of civilizations. They may also be understood as the basis of contemporary life. However, for me, the obsessive questioning related to these concepts has come to be represented by symbols.
These symbols allow me to handle concepts that can be turned into a structure with multiple lines of thought, as a way of giving form to something that has none, a concrete form to something insubstantial. Symbols have that quality; they are not absolute. They are rather elements that help us connect with our own ways of thinking, often helping us to understand the structure supported by a given concept. I would venture to say that a symbol is an invisible element that takes form and color in our heads, The activity of taking fluid concepts and expressing them in formal structures is a catharsis that helps me find a reason for existence.
