My artistic practice navigates the intersections of music, sound, and visual art, drawing inspiration from my Caribbean roots and Latin American heritage. Trained as a classical musician, I incorporate both traditional and experimental techniques, crafting instruments from natural materials such as seashells. These pieces exist in both sculptural and performative dimensions, exploring themes of fragility, memory, and the relationship between the body and its environment.

My work engages with sound as a physical and emotional phenomenon, connecting to ancestral knowledge while questioning contemporary identities. The act of creating and activating my instruments becomes a metaphorical bridge between past and present, local and global. Through an interdisciplinary approach, I highlight the interconnectivity of art forms, addressing environmental and cultural concerns through an evocative lens. By merging personal and collective histories, my work invites reflection on the resilience and vulnerability of both nature and human expression.
